Regardless of position, we are always looking for new members. If you are interested, we strongly suggest you visit us during one of our weekly meetings- Stop by the firehouse any Monday night between 7pm & 9pm. Members will show you around, answer questions, and help you start the application process. We look forward to meeting you!

Firefighters

Firefighters

Firefighters respond to emergency calls within the borough. Training is provided at no cost, is easy to incorporate into a busy schedule, and takes approximately five months at either the Middletown Fire Academy, or the Monmouth County Fire Academy. Graduating members are NJ State certified firefighters, as well as First Responders.

Fire Police

Fire Police

Fire Police are responsible for keeping the fire scene safe for all first responders. This crucial task involves establishing scene boundaries, crowd control, and directing traffic. Fire Police are also instrumental in orchestrating parades and large special events.

Social Members

Social Members

Social members enjoy all the benefits of active membership, without firefighter responsibilities. Social members help run the business side of our organization, including fundraising and annual events. Social members can hold any position within the company except those pertaining to firefighting.

Fire Cadets

Fire Cadets

Fire Cadets are members between the ages of 14 and 18 who are permitted to assist in a safe and supervised capacity during emergency calls, training drills and firehouse duties. For young individuals, becoming a Cadet can be an extremely valuable learning experience, and an excellent way to prepare for the Fire Academy.
